Founders

For the past 30 years we have provided safe haven for resident wildlife and sanctuary to cast-a-way cats, dogs and farm fowl. When we decided to hang up our shepherd's crook, after 25 years raising commercial and purebred sheep, we didn't want the barns and pastures to go unused. We decided to fill them with horses that needed a "special" home.

Before the last of the sheep flock was relocated to Rhode Island, a crippled mini horse, a quarter horse draft cross with a bowed tendon and a paso fino with an 'attitude' and metabolic problems took up residence in the vacated weaned lamb barn. Wow, word of mouth is a powerful method of communication here in the Lykens Valley!

Unlimited Rainbows Animal Haven is dedicated to all of our animal friends, past, present and to come. We are eternally grateful for the countless rainbows and sun-shiny days you give us.
